The free tools on this site do not require an account. West of Obvious does not use analytics or advertising trackers. It does not set cookies on this site.

Interactive answers

Your scorecard answers remain in your browser until you close or reload the page. The site does not send them to West of Obvious or store them on a server.

Free and paid orders

Lemon Squeezy processes free and paid product checkouts under its own privacy notice. It may provide West of Obvious with the buyer's name, email address, order details, product, selected license and support history.

West of Obvious will use that information to deliver the order and answer support requests. It may also use the information when a product problem needs correction or when records must be kept for licensing, accounting or legal reasons. A product order will not subscribe the buyer to the West of Obvious publication or general email. That requires a separate choice.

Other websites

Links to Lemon Squeezy, Substack and cited sources open websites with their own privacy practices. Those sites may collect information under their own policies.
