Product and use terms
West of Obvious LLC owns the tools, questions, writing, design, and downloadable files published on this site unless a credit says otherwise.
What you may do
You may use a free tool for your own job search or inside your own company. You may share the original West of Obvious link.
What needs written permission
You may not remove the attribution, copy the tool onto another site, sell or repackage it, upload it to a template library, or use it in paid client work without written permission from West of Obvious LLC.
Paid product licenses
The product page states which license applies to a paid download. A practitioner or internal-team license permits use by the named buyer or one named internal team. A company license permits internal use throughout one legal entity. An advisor or consultant license permits the buyer to use the files during paid client work and deliver completed outputs to those clients.
No license permits resale, sublicensing, white-labeling, public redistribution, removal of attribution, or transfer of editable source files unless the product page or a separate written agreement says so.
Checkout and delivery
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for products sold through its checkout. After a free or paid checkout is complete, Lemon Squeezy will provide the files or access links listed on the product page. West of Obvious products sold there are fixed digital goods. They do not include consulting, customization, live teaching, physical goods or work that requires manual fulfillment.
Download problems and refund requests
If a purchased file is inaccessible, corrupted, incomplete, or materially different from its product description, email melissa@westofobvious.com within 14 days of the order. West of Obvious will provide a working replacement or review the order for a refund. Lemon Squeezy processes approved refunds as merchant of record.
These terms do not limit a consumer right that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Support and product updates
Support covers download access and corrections to the purchased edition. A purchase does not include consulting, customization, implementation work, training or a future major edition unless the product page says otherwise.
What the tools are not
The tools provide general information. They are not legal, financial, medical, security or employment advice. The limits stated on each product remain part of these terms. Buyers are responsible for reviewing and adapting editable materials before using them in their own organization.
